Geoff Chairs Task Force

At the request of the Board of Directors at the Builders and Remodelors Association of Greater Ann Arbor, Geoff was asked to chair a task force dealing with the City of Ann Arbor Building Department. Issues arise from time to time with plan review lead times, inspection lead times, code interpretation issues, inspector customer service issues, fee rates, etc. Rather than having individuals try to address these things piecemeal, the task force meets monthly with City officials to discuss issues to try to find possible solutions.

If you are having any kinds of problems related to the Building Department, contact Maureen Sloan at BRAG – 996-0100, and let her know that you would like to have your topic discussed at the next meeting. You can attend the meeting and present your issue, or let the task force present it for you. Lunch is provided.

In the eight years the task force has been meeting great progress has been made. Sometimes things are going so well that there is no reason to meet. 🙂
